Posted on September 8th, 2010 by [H]ardOCP News/Article Feed

Apparently walking makes you smarter. If this is true, I want to walk enough to eventually become as smart as Steven Hawking. Wait, that’s just wrong.

Most Hacking Victims Blame Themselves

Posted on September 8th, 2010 by [H]ardOCP News/Article Feed

According to a new survey by Symantec, most people that fall victim to hackers blame themselves.

Researchers found that 65 percent of Internet users worldwide have already been victims. In the U.S., it’s 73 percent, but things are worse in China (83 percent), Brazil (76 percent) and India (also 76 percent). Those results stood out to Norton Internet Safety Advocate Marian Merritt, who tracks this type of data for a living. “What we were really surprised by was, first of all, how common it was that people are being victimized by cybercrime,” she said.

The Dirty Truth About Digital Fasts

Posted on September 8th, 2010 by [H]ardOCP News/Article Feed

I like the way this lady thinks. This article is for those of us that are sick of hearing people talk about needing to “unplug,” like the internet is a disease. Give this short editorial a read and then pass it on.

Put yourself out there online, as you truly are and with what you truly think, and you can have that experience of being seen.
